about

Bulkhead's second and final record came just in time. The band had a series of Spinal Tap-esque record label-attorney-manager-publicist mishaps that put them at the brink of existence. Kramer (Bongwater, King Missile, Low) approached them at a NYC show in 1993 and expressed interest in recording the band. Recorded in just two days at Kramer's Noise New Jersey studio, Gas Giants was released in June 1994. Unfortunately, it was too late to salvage the band. They were to call it quits shortly after touring the midwest in April of that same year.
