Harbor thoughts of doing harm, it's hard to think of these feelings I have now. But it tears right through me, it's the message sent. This is a sign and not just a warning. I had a growth on my neck, it was threatening my life. I cried "lord what have i done"? Well its the work I say, I do without pay. This is a sign and not just a warning, This is a chore, we're waiting for Jesus. Jesus....Jesus. Scientists are getting used to the idea, anthropologists have found the DNA. Apologist step forward who's responsible here. It's Jesus, oh it's alien Jesus, punctures his way through the atmosphere as he floats across the plain. He built a highway for me.

about

Bulkhead's debut LP Plunk was recorded in the summer of 1991 at Cambridge's Fort Apache Studios. Released to much fanfare in early 1992 on Sonic Bubblegum Records, Plunk features an assortment of new songs, older songs and re-recordings of several local hits including Leaves In Virginia, A Dong Market and Psychic. Alternative Press called it "tentative genius...a combination of crunch-solo guitar and mutant Motown choruses which might have obvious precedents, but are nevertheless hell-bent on carving their own half-crazy course." Soundbites magazine called it the "best psychotic trucker record of the year". Puncture magazine said "this band should go on to produce further appealing nuggets of joy and remorse."
