During Bulkhead's 6+ year career (1987-1994) the band released two LPs, Plunk (1992 - Sonic Bubblegum) and Gas Giants (1994 - Shimmy Disk) and two 7-inch singles. Often cited as a link between Mission of Burma and the Pixies, Bulkhead came to prominence in the Boston rock scene with the local radio hits Zooks (1987), Saw Ya (1990) and Leaves In Virginia (1991).
